Al – Ansar Hospital

Al- Ansar Hospital is a state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary healthcare facility being developed by the Ministry of Defense (MOD) as part of the Saudi British Defense Cooperation Programme. Designed as a 300-bed hospital, it will serve both MOD employees and the local community, aligning with the broader objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The project emphasizes patient-centric design, energy efficiency, and advanced medical technology, featuring a comprehensive range of services including emergency care, inpatient units, intensive care, operating theaters, outpatient clinics, and specialized diagnostic and support departments. With a total built-up area of 66,954 m², the hospital is part of a larger site that includes a dedicated service and parking building, providing capacity for 1,400 vehicles and ensuring robust operational and logistical support.

The hospital’s architectural and functional design reflects a modern, sustainable approach, integrating sleek aesthetics with practical efficiency. Its structure comprises a basement, ground floor, and three upper floors, each tailored to specific medical and administrative functions—from emergency and diagnostic services on the ground level to VIP and royal suites on the third floor. The design philosophy emphasizes fluid forms, natural light, and biophilic elements to create a healing environment, while the layout prioritizes smooth patient flow, staff mobility, and future expandability. With its strategic location in Madina, advanced infrastructure, and commitment to international healthcare standards, Al- Ansar Hospital is poised to set a new benchmark for medical excellence and sustainable development in the region.
